Per Augustsson, postdoctor at BME, has received 200000 SEK from the Royal Physiographic Society of Lund  for the project Iso-acoustic focusing of cells. This microfluidic method can lead to shorter analysis times to analyze patient blood samples and is anticipated to have future applications in clinical cancer diagnostics.
