Prof. Thomas Laurell becomes Fellow of Tokyo University

Thomas Laurell has become a Fellow of the School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo (also known as Todai). Prof. Laurell was appointed earlier this year and the ceremony was held on 16 November in Tokyo. The honors were given with the following motivation:

"...Continuous and intensive collaboration have been made since 2000’s. He made two lectures for graduate students in the School of Engineering in 2015 and 8 invited lectures. He has made collaborative researches and academic exchange with faculty members in the School of Engineering and the Institute of Industrial Science. Furthermore, in management of meetings and conferences in the international community of microfluidics, he greatly contributed to development of international research-core and exchange in the School of Engineering, based on coordination with faculty members at the University of Tokyo."
