Isabella Silva Barreto was awarded runner up for Best Doctoral Thesis in Biomechanics at the European Society of Biomechanics' annual meeting in Edinburgh in July 2024. Isabella's thesis was entitled Synchrotron-based characterization of mechanobiological effects on the nanoscale in musculoskeletal tissues.
