Per Augustsson, postdoctor at BME, has received 200000 SEK from the Royal Physiographic Society of Lund for the project Iso-acoustic focusing of cells. This microfluidic method can lead to shorter analysis times to analyze patient blood samples and is anticipated to have future applications in clinical cancer diagnostics.
BME got a "grand slam" of awards from Apotekaresocieteten (Swedish Pharmaceutical Society) - the Phabian Award 2015.
