Per Augustsson postdoctor at BME and Massachusetts Institute of Technology has received 150000 SEK from the Sten K Johnsson foundation for a project aiming at measuring the acoustic properties of individual cells. The method can lead to shorter analysis times to analyze patient blood samples and is anticipated to have future applications in clinical cancer diagnostics.
