KAW-POC to Cinthio, Goncalves, and Erlöv.

In a collaboration between Department of Biomedical Engineering, LTH, Clinical Sciences, Malmö, LU, and Region Skåne; Magnus Cinthio, Isabel Goncalves, and Tobias Erlöv have been awarded MSEK 3 during 2024-2025 for the project "Novel ultrasound-based method to detect atherosclerotic plaques that cause strokes and heart attacks".
Magnus Cinthio: "In collaboration with LU Innovation, Lund, we have initiated the development of a strategy aimed at ensuring the successful commercialization and global use of our novel method. The KAW Proof of Concept Grant will allow us to build a prototype that enables real-time imaging as well as to conduct more in vivo studies."
