Juan Pablo Martínez, Zaragoza
Juan Pablo Martínez Cortés, professor at the University of Zaragoza in Spain, is currently visiting the group in biomedical signal processing at the BME department.

In Zaragoza, he is part of the research group in Biomedical Signal Interpretation and Computational Simulation, as well as Centro de Investigacíon Biomédica en Red en Bioingeniería, Biomateriales y Nanomedicina (CIBER-BBN). His research interests include biomedical signal processing, with focus on cardiovascular signals. The reason for his visit is a project concerning the development of novel techniques for cardiac signal extraction during hemodialysis. Dr. Martínez' stay is financed by a grant from Crafoordska stiftelsen.
