Swedish newspaper Skånska dagbladet made an end-of-the-year interview with Assoc prof. Hanna Isaksson about her career as she recently recieved grant of 7.5 million SEK from the Knut and Alice Wallenberg foundation. Hanna works with biomechanics which is very much of a cross-over field between medicine and engineering looking at the tissues and mechanical functions of the body. The grant is directed towards research on injuries and healing of the achilles tendon.
