Biography

Frida Sandberg, Associate professor, PhD

Frida Sandberg received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing from Lund University, Lund, Sweden, in 2003 and 2010, respectively. She is since 2016 employed as senior lecturer (universitetslektor) at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and she was appointed reader (docent) 2018.  Her research interests include statistical signal processing, time-frequency analysis and modeling of biomedical signals, with particular interest in signals of cardiovascular origin. She is currently main supervisor of four PhD candidates.

Frida Sandberg teaches basic and advance level courses in signal processing. She is since 2016 assistant manager for the M.Sc. programme in Biomedical Engineering, and she was previously assistant manager for the M.Sc. programme in Electrical Engineering 2013-2016. She was appointed Excellent Teaching Practitioner (ETP) 2020.
